Our Team
Chris has been involved in politics in North Carolina for over 20 years, being recognized as one of the Top 500 Influencers in American Politics in 2013. Chris was instrumental in the passage of Marsy’s Law for All legislation, the Connect NC bond and multiple Wake County Education bonds. Through his work, Chris has partnered with a range of clients, both political and corporate, growing the Sinclair PA team and consulting on issues of advocacy, strategic communication, digital advertising and campaigning.
Anna brings 20 plus years of experience to the Sinclair PA team. Getting her start at CapStrat (now Ketchum), she went on to serve as the communications director and spokesperson for the NC House and, later, as a senior level communications consultant for nonprofit and private sector clients. Since joining the Sinclair PA team, Anna has been involved in numerous award winning communication campaigns, spearheading efforts at the Raleigh office.
Sarah was a part-time consultant for Sinclair PA before becoming the firm's Director of Public Affairs. A graduate of Meredith College in the school of Public Policy, Sarah is a Raleigh native, with an interest in local and state-wide politics. She works in the fast-paced and complex communications environment for a range of political, policy and private sector clients. Her work focuses on project management, key messaging and campaign strategy.
Kaitlin joined the Sinclair Public Affairs team after graduating from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill. She later transitioned to full-time with Sinclair PA, becoming the Director of Public Relations at the start of 2022, where she works with a range of clients and issues helping to coordinate communications. She works with clients on media relations efforts, graphic and web design, and communications strategy.
As Production Manager at Sinclair Public Affairs, Kailey specializes in social media management, crisis management, media relations and digital campaigning, bringing a unique expertise to Sinclair PA clients. After graduating from Appalachian State University, where she studied crisis communications, Kailey joined the Sinclair PA team in 2020. Now, she specializes in project management, content creation and digital advertising campaigns.
Lizzy graduated from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill and joined Sinclair PA as Digital Account Executive where she works with the digital and leadership team, helping to generate and track content and communications. She supports the team by creating social media calendars, conducting media audits and tracking digital metrics for clients.
Charlene comes to Sinclair PA with over 35 years of experience in the office management and operations field. Having worked with founder and CEO, Chris Sinclair, previously, she joined the team in 2022 where she now helps keep the Sinclair PA office running, supporting the staff on a daily basis.
With nearly 15 years of experience, including positions with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, John Cleveland played a pivotal part in advancing cannabis legislation in California through his role as government relations director at WM Technology. John is a graduate of the College of Charleston and Washington & Lee University School of Law and is now leading business development in South Carolina for Sinclair Public Affairs.

Sinclair Public Affairs was founded by Chris Sinclair, a leading strategist who has been active in influencing policy and public affairs in North Carolina for over 20 years. What started as an independent public affairs firm has grown into a full-service public relations and public affairs firm servicing clients from numerous sectors.
Today, our firm is made up a group of engaged communications professionals who are dedicated to helping share our client’s stories.
