Roughly two years ago, I was provided an opportunity of a lifetime: to buy full ownership of my previous firm, Cornerstone Solutions NC, and rebrand under a new company. This risky venture turned out to be the best move of my personal and professional career. This company became Sinclair Public Affairs, LLC. And my—how far this company has come in such a short time.
As with any new company, the first several years of the rebrand was dedicated to refining client management and transition. Over the last year and a half, however, I have been able to grow the company, add experienced staff, and further refine procedures- resulting in unprecedented client growth.
From award winning campaigns, and victorious political client wins, Sinclair PA is growing fast- but we’re just getting started. Thank you to our clients for being an integral part of this journey- you are the heart and soul of what we do and why we do it.

Where We’re Headed & What Drives us:
In the fall of 2020, the Sinclair PA team had the opportunity to come together in Charlotte, NC- while safely social distancing, of course. The purpose of this staff retreat was to chart our path over the next several years. We hired the Prosper Group, out of New York, to facilitate our two-day planning session. Sinclair PA’s decision to collaborate with this group was driven by their experience in the public relations sphere- with employees comprising of former PR specialists, public affairs agency owners and executives. The Prosper group understands the world that Sinclair PA operates in because they have been in our shoes.
Our planning retreat fostered great team building, collaboration and some downtime- but also bore fruit for the future of Sinclair Public Affairs. As we prepared our strategic plan for future growth, I was astounded with the input, the passion, and the creativity of our team.

During the retreat, we were tasked with developing a mission and vision for Sinclair PA- a mantra that exemplifies the core of who we are and what we value.

Over the course of my 25+ year career in the public affairs sphere, I have had the opportunity to work with amazing people, organizations and companies. The common thread with each, whether an individual, business owner, or association, is that they are, quite literally, changing the world- one community, one person, one industry at a time. At Sinclair, we get to help them do that. That’s pretty cool, in my book. The work we do is so much more than generic public affairs, public relations, or running a campaign- we get to elicit real, and positive change for American citizens.
The first several years of Sinclair have already been unprecedentedly eventful and amazing, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my company, my staff, and my clients. One thing is for certain, it will be rewarding, meaningful and impactful. In this world of public issues, public affairs and public relations, it always is.
