Sinclair Public Affairs, a regional communications firm with offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, recently received several top national political and creative industry awards for a series of communications campaigns in 2021.
The firm won an Association of Political Consultants (Pollie) Silver national level award on behalf of the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee for advertising work in the Columbia, South Carolina mayoral race. In the creative industry, the firm won two Hermes Awards – including the top tier Platinum Award for “PR Campaign and Strategic Campaigns” on behalf of its 2021 July 4 PR campaign with Phantom Fireworks. The firm also won a Gold Hermes Award for work with Southeast region developer Craig Davis Properties for strategic PR campaign efforts and annual report design.
These prestigious awards represent months of preparation with key clients and the successful execution of their goals. The SC Association of REALTORS® campaign that earned a national silver Pollie award elevated important housing, growth and infrastructure related industry issues in a competitive local campaign. It included comprehensive strategies during the regular municipal mayoral election in Columbia followed by a critical run-off.
The Platinum Hermes award for Phantom Fireworks, the largest firework distributor in the nation, included a targeted seasonal media relations campaign that helped deliver record-breaking 2021 Fourth of July sales – through high level media placements in regional and national outlets. The Gold level Hermes award recognized creative work for leading regional real estate developer Craig Davis Properties (CDP), whose company is embarking on a series of high-profile developments throughout the southeast. Sinclair PA created an in-house annual report highlighting the company’s significant accomplishments around new major development announcements in the Carolinas for the year ahead.
