Sinclair Public Affairs has been awarded national MarCom Awards in four categories – including the top tier Platinum Award, a Gold level award and two honorable mentions.
The Platinum Award in the category of top tier Public Relations Program – recognized outstanding excellence for quality, creativity, and resourcefulness was awarded for the firm’s work with Phantom Fireworks, the country’s largest firework distributor based in Ohio. Sinclair PA created and implemented a strategic plan to promote Phantom Fireworks products as they faced an uncertain Fourth of July, their largest annual revenue generator, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the comprehensive media relations effort that included home and personal safety firework use directions, Phantom Fireworks had their strongest sales season in years and received broad coverage in key markets and national publications. The Gold Award was for work with the Leading Builders of America in the Social Media Campaign category – recognizing work that exceeded the high standards of the industry norm. This project centered around a 10-day social media campaign to collect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from their members nationwide in a quick timeline last spring when the need was urgent in communities facing the pandemic crisis.
